| Somewhere between 1:30 and 1:40 AM, my and two friends left a friend's house to go to a convenience store. I looked up, and saw a lint of lights in the sky. Excited, I told my friends to look up, as I thought we were getting an early display of the Leonids Meteor Shower. However, the lights appeared stationary, and didn't have any tails (as meteors would). After pointing them out, the lights began moving fairly quickly, and in random directions, but only for a very short distance before they disappeared. There was a streetlight partly obstructing our view of the stars in that area of the sky, yet the lights were still distinct and clearly visible. I kept checking the sky until approximately 3:45 this morning, but there was no sign of anything else out of the ordinary. The lights seemed to be fairly high up, but approximately how far away they were was hard to decide as there was no audible noise from the objects, and they each seemed relatively small. | |
