While driving north on rt I 86 at 9:10 pm my daughter and I saw a glowing orange ball pass over the road at a height of about 75 to 100 feet. It was moving in a north easterly direction at a slow rate of speed. We turned right at the next intersection and were able to view it again as it passed over Bayview Road and then disappeared into the clouds. The object did not make any zig zag motions, just moved in straight line. The next morning a friend in Maple Springs, said she had seen the same glowing globe through the trees near the shoreline of Lake Chautauqua. At first she thought she was seeing a street light through the trees, then realized none were at that location and it appeared to be moving as well.

To describe the object more fully, it appeared to be glowing from within - the yellow orange color of a bright flame. It had a darker orange rim and was about 2 to 4 feet in diameter, even thought the size is just a guess. It may have been just floating in the wind as no variantion in speed or direction was noticed.
