Sitting by a small fire in a friends back yard I asked my friend to look in the sky and comfirm what I was seeing .. We both ruled out the fact that any plane or aircraft we know about could ever fly at such a constant but silent pace... We observed this object fly from east to west a few thousand feet above cloud level if i was to guess i would say around 8 to 10 thousand feet tops.. this object had a brite light underneith it.. not infront not behind no red or blue flashing lights just a constant brite white light.. We were dumbfounded because it flew over with dead silence... as we watched this object fly within a few kms away the light dimmed like you were turning off i light with a dimmer switch to a black dot that just vanished.. not like it vanished because it was too far away , clear as day we saw it go from a brite light,dim to gone. After It dissapeared we couldnt belive or realy make sence of what it was.

Scanning the sky we found one light in the far distance that was what apeared to be staitonary but very bright.. very simular to the one we saw fly over but it was around 15,000 ft. Im guessing 20 or 30 Kms away. A third friend walked over and we explained what we just saw fly over there house.. and were asking them if they knew what that bright light just sitting not moving was .. she didnt know first guess was satelite but then quickly shot that idea down because see saw a plane fly a few thousand feet below it and just like that it dimmed and completly disapered for about 45 sec and then reapered . We watched this light for about a half an hr and in dimmed out 3 other times but appered to be moving very slow from north to south.. i did get my video camera out and film it for awhile.. I will try and download and send it. We were wondering as it seemed to be hovering over the Chilliwack to USA if it was possibly somthing used to watch the border again we were stumped how somthing could just hover at that altidute with such a brightness to it as it stood way apart from any other light from planes satelites or stars..

Anyone else report seeing anything around that area?
