| I cant remember the dates exactly, but it was summer. My background with this stuff goes back to grade 2. I'd take every paranormal book and every space related book and read it cover to cover. I have always believed EVERYTHING has an explaination, or are fooled by some light trickary. I could explain big foot pictures or other incidents and have a reasonable explaination in grade2. I LOVE space and have studied it for almost 15 years now. I own my own telescope and have all kinds of computer programs on calculating the stars. What im trying to say is, I have considered this to great lengths to explain it, but have nothing. I came home at 0300 AM from work to my very secluded rural home. I lived 45 minutes away from any town or city. I was wide awake, which is unusual, and took a stretch from the drive. I looked at the sky, and it was clear enough to see the milky way vividly. I turned to the south, where I can usually find Venus, and Sirius. When i turned, i noticed a bright star out of place. I reasoned it was too bright for a star and slightly likly that Venus was unusually bright, and unusually large. Until it started to move. I thought ok... that is the most bizzare thing i've ever seen! Something slightly bigger and brighter than Venus? It started moving South East, and into the distance, very slowly. So i reasoned that perhaps it was a satellite. A faint chance that it was very close to earth, hence its almost eliptical type movement. This all happened in probably 4-5 seconds. As it moved, it started to jiggle. Which satellites dont. They make a smooth arc across the sky, and are small. So I thought to myself, Venus is out, thats not a comet, not a satellite either. I reasoned with myself, that since it did not make not even a whisper of a sound that perhaps maybe a meteor or airplane, but neither jiggle and vibrate like this did. I was out of explainations! i stood there for what had to be 40 seconds or more before it was behind a branch that was obstructing my vision. It disapeared behind the branch, confirming it wasnt my vision or my mind, as i took a few steps forward too watch it again. I couldnt tell how big it actually was, or how close or how far from the ground it was, but it bounced back and fourth, side to side while quietly floating south east towards the horizon. it got slightly smaller as it shivered behind the horizon. I could only stand there with my mouth open, defying everything I had been proving wrong since grade 2. I ended up running into the house because it freaked me out, and of course no one believed the hard core skeptic who finally may have been proven wrong... | |
